Hans Koppe

Hans Koppe holds a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts and a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Calgary. Hans has been a licensed member of the Alberta Association of Architects for nearly 5 years and recently partnered with fellow architect Tony Casola to form Casola Koppe Architects. Over the past 10 years Hans has been the design and project architect on a wide range of projects. His primary focus has been on seeing larger projects through from conception to construction. From this experience, Hans has gained a sound understanding of every aspect of the architectural project. He is a strong believer that the key to the success of a project is in the clear communication and coordination with the client, authorities, community, and all team members. Hans has always embraced emerging technologies in a constant effort to maximize efficiency and quality control when designing and preparing contract documents. Recently, Hans has spearheaded the full transition at Casola Koppe from traditional AutoCad drafting methods to full parametric modeling of all new projects with the use of the next generation in architectural documentation, Autodesk’s Revit Software. Hans has been a LEED® AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) since February 2009.
